A Summer Intensive for the Young Performer.

THE MOST IMPORTANT STAGE IN A YOUTHS LIFE

HMS Performing Arts brings you a 6-week fun filled summer performing arts training program called StageLeft!  Immerse yourself in the art of theatre, developing existing talents, and learning new ones.  

Beginners are welcome, and we offer challenges to the more experienced actor.

 

When:  June 10-July 19, 2019.  M-F.  1:00-4:30pm.  

Where:  1727 Pali Hwy.  Hongwanji Mission School.

For:  3rd grade through 12th grade.  All experience levels welcome!

About:  Our StageLeft! Summer Program, led by award winning industry professionals, is specifically designed to develop each cast member’s talent while enhancing his or her understanding and ability in all areas of the performing arts.  Each cast member receives individual attention from our faculty. The program offers motivated, fun loving children and teens intensive daily training in an environment of high energy, fun and excitement, discovering their full potential by gaining confidence on stage, understanding the language of their bodies, and the strength of their minds.  StageLeft! cast members will also experience: first-hand the thrill of being in a musical production performed on the beautiful Paliku Theatre Stage, Audition Workshop, and the Rising Stars Showcase.

What:

Acting-Character Development, Monologues, Movement, Scene Work, & Improv

Dancing-Theatre/Broadway/Jazz Techniques Class

Voice-Singing Lessons/Pitch/Breath/Rhythm

Audition Workshop-We will start our summer with an in-depth audition workshop, which coaches each individual cast member through their audition song, and training on how to give a strong and amazing audition, to Nail that audition!  Get individual feedback and help on your song and song choice.  

Rising Stars Showcase – This Showcase allows students to showcase their skill sets individually, or as a group, outside of our Summer Production.
